PHOS BENEFIT CONCERTS
'Phos (φῶς)' means radiance in Greek
Phos project is a benefit chamber music concert series. It was created to raise money to help support various non-profit organizations serving underprivileged children in the US and developing countries in 2014. The previous benefit concerts have supported; Seeds of Empowerment '1001 Stories Project', Father's house in Nepal, Guiding Light Project in San Jose, AMASE (Academy of Music and Arts for Special Education) Northwestern Chapter, Grace scholarship in Niger, Operation SAFE International for 'Kumamoto Earthquake Fund', Kyushu Christ Disaster Relief Center in Japan, The Kilgoris Project 'Back to school project' in Kenya, N2KM 'study cafe for N.K students in S.Korea, 4Christmission 'Secondary school building project' in San Telmo, Mexico, Grace Academy 'School building fund' in Niger, Children's ministry support in Fukuoka, Japan, Music for Minors, and San Francisco City Academy in US.
